KonoSuba Season 3 Might Just End Up Happening A Comedic Masterpiece!

Konosuba Season 3 has not been confirmed! No official date has been released. But with the global success of KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Legend of Crimson movie. A season 3 announcement might just come sooner than expected!

Why didn’t KonoSuba get a season 3?

KonoSuba get a season 3

KonoSuba Season 2 came out way back in 2016, and despite the immediate success of the Anime and the boom in the Light Novel sales, the series did not continue for a Season 3.

This is attributed to the fact that Kadokawa, the publisher of KonoSuba light Novel, focuses more on using anime to boost Light Novel sales rather than making a profit off of the animation.

And tripling the Light Novel sales after just 2 seasons, there was just no need for a KonoSuba Season 3 back then. But the story is different now.

konosuba anime season 3

KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Is an exceptional series that deserves a Season 3. And if the remarks of the producer Junichiro Tamura are anything to go by, we might get a season 3 as early 2021 or go a little late by early 2022.

The anime has more than enough material for a Season 3 and a Season 4. So, with the success of the movie and the sales of the Light Novel which seems to be going up, Konosuba is getting a Season 3.

Now we just have to wait for an official announcement which I hope will surprise everyone by adapting more than 2 volumes of the light novel.
